The Fairmont Lions is now recycling small electronic waste to help raise funds to help support our service activities.
We recycle the following items (even if broken or not working): •New & Used inkjet, laser/toner cartridges (including those unused printer cartridges you don’t have printers for anymore) •Laptops, iPads, Kindles and cell phones, as well as all types of cables. Our recycler CFK has been a primary recycler in these items since the program was started in 2007 in Virginia by one of our club members. CFK wipes all hard drives to DOD specs. Our experience with them has made them our trusted recycler for these items. Please donate these items to the Fairmont Lions so we can use the proceeds to help our community. 100% of the net proceeds raised goes to support our service projects. Residential items may be droppped off at White Hall Ship and More, 13 Opal Drive, Fairmont, WV during their normal business hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Saturday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. For commercial/professional items in larger quantities, pick-up can be arranaged. For more information, contact: Fred Cannon at Sarasdad2000@yahoo.com or call his cell (412)889-7950. We can arrange a one-time pickup or schedule weekly, monthly or as needed pickups. |
The Fairmont Lions Club periodically conducts sales of apples and peaches supplied from West Virginia orchards. Timing of these sales depends on the harvest and the sales usually occur on Saturdays during late summer and fall. Watch for notice on this site, our Facebook page and the local news media. |
